2019 Skin Contact Muscat Trio
Embracing ancient tradition, this wine is crafted in a unique and natural way. These Muscat grapes are hand-picked from the rocky slopes of Eola Amity Hills and fermented with their skins. They remained soaking with their skins for a full five months, where they drew out incredible aromatics, flavor, and texture, pushing the final product into a category beyond typical white wine.
The wine rested for 10 months in Neutral French Oak after the wine was finally pressed off of the skins. The resulting wine is unlike anything we've produced before, radiating with aromatics of wildflower and honey, and with flavors of beeswax, golden apple, and lemon. It's delightfully refreshing yet surprisingly complex, and pairs well with a range of spices and dishes.
