2018 Chardonnay Trio
- Fresh quince and pineapple, toasted hazelnuts, and nutmeg
- Round and bright, finishing with a lift
To produce this energetic wine, we handpicked Chardonnay clusters from our vineyards rich with rocky volcanic soils, located at 600ft in elevation. The grapes were then direct pressed, fermented with wild yeast, and aged in seasoned oak barrels.
The resulting wine is bright with freshness. Expressive notes of quince, baked apples, and pineapple mingle with nutty layers and sweet spices - all underpinned by a distinct mineral core and bright acidity. It's absolutely lovely with shellfish, soft cheeses, or just on its own. We think it's the perfect wine to light up any meal or happy hour.
